Okay, when it comes to homes in Asheville - as well as Asheville homes for sale in general - not every property is going to compare with the Biltmore Estate:

(source)America’s largest home once again is the most visited attraction among North Carolina’s public and private museums and historic sites, according to a statewide survey released today.

The lavish home built by George Vanderbilt, along with its manicured gardens, winery, restaurants and Inn topped the list of attractions for the fourth consecutive year. For the second year in a row Biltmore drew more than one million visitors to Asheville.

But then, since the Biltmore isn’t an Asheville home that’s for sale, let’s look at the plus side: what will you find available:

  • You’ll find single family homes that are in great neighborhoods with solid school systems
  • You’ll find townhouses or condos that will give you access to great restaurants or the arts or anything else that you’re looking for
  • You’ll find multi-family properties - if that’s what you’re looking for

Most importantly, when you look at Asheville homes for sale, you’ll find that there’s a home where you can feel at ease - and you’ll be able to get it without breaking the bank.

What a beautiful area Ashville is. It looks like home prices are in a variety of levels making it affordable to many. I am actually interested in retiring to NC someday. I have been researching areas and it has so many types of enviroment from moutains, hills, and coastal communities. My father was a Camp LeJeune many years ago and have always spoke of the great weather and people in NC. I went on line a couple months ago search for homes and my problem is which area to live in. I hope to visit many areas over the next few years and make that final decision but your area I know and is amazing beautiful.
