(source)The Western North Carolina Farmers Market on Brevard Road hosts its third annual BBQ Cookoff and Bluegrass Jam this weekend, combining local and regional music with a competitive barbecue cook-off that draws chefs from all over the region.

Admission is free and you can purchase food from the contestants. The musical lineup includes local and regional favorites like Whitewater Bluegrass and Balsam Range plus Ohio-based Rounder Recording artists Newfound Road.
